The "Project for the
New American Century (PNAC)" Exposed
by L E Miller

The "Project for the New American
Century (PNAC)" dreamt-up in the 'bowels' of neo-cons' nightmares,
by Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and, other panderers to the Global
Corporate Empire, is coming under increasing scrutiny, as it has
dominated the Bush Regime's insane domestic and foreign policies.
It is unclear whether Bush comprehends its full implications or
is simply their "Useful Idiot".
An article published yesterday in Guardian
UK, entitled "This war on terrorism is bogus: The 9/11 attacks
gave the US an ideal pretext to use force to secure its global
domination", by Michael Meacher, on Saturday, September 6,
2003, on http://www.guardian.co.uk/comment/story/0,3604,1036571,00.html
, highlights the rationale behind the war on Iraq (and it wasn't
phony WMDs posing an "imminent threat" as we were misled
to believe by Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, etc.).
"PNAC.Info-Exposing the Project for
the New American Century" is a web-site devoted to "An
effort to investigate, analyze, and expose the Project for the
New American Century, and its plan for a "unipolar"
world." on http://www.pnac.info/ - They provide a link to
access the report entitled "Rebuilding Americas Defenses",
that will make any rational person's blood run cold.
Interestingly, the official PNAC web-site
(http://www.newamericancentury.org/) has removed this report from
their web-site! Its neo-con authors want to keep their ghoulish
intentions a secret, in a vain attempt to cover-up their bizarre
plan for a Global Corporate Empire that intends to brutally dominate
the world's people and assets to enrich a few corporations, robber-barons,
and the wealthy oligarchy.
Is our U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights
being pre-empted, and our U.S. Government being high-jacked by
neo-cons running to their own Business Plan, with no restraints
on grabbing power and riches? Are the neo-cons and the Bush Regime
above the rule of law? You decide:

"This is the new Mein Kampf. Only
Hitler did not have nuclear weapons. It's the scariest document
I've ever read in my life." -- Dr. Helen Caldicott, referring
to the Project for the New American Century report entitled Rebuilding
America's Defenses: Strategy, Forces and Resources For a New Century,
28 April 2003. Dr. Caldicott is a Pediatrician, a Nobel Peace
Prize nominee, founder of Physicians for Social Responsibility
and author of The New Nuclear Danger: George W. Bush's Military-Industrial
Complex. (video)
Project for the New American Century (PNAC)
is a neo-conservative think-tank that seeks US world domination
through military conquest of what it calls "the new American
frontier." PNAC's membership includes people such as Richard
Perle, who "has given seminars on ways to profit from possible
conflicts discussed by defense board he sits on", according
to the The Los Angeles Times; Elliot Abrams, who lied to Congress
about Nicaragua and denied massacres by US-trained forces in El
Salvador; Dick Cheney, who voted against a 1986 resolution calling
for the release of Nelson Mandela from prison and recognition
of the African National Congress -- an act cited by Mandela in
a September 2002 public denunciation of U.S. policy toward Iraq;
Donald Rumsfeld, who advocates the "no evidence required"
approach to international relations; Paul Wolfowitz, who has spoken
of "ending states" and has been dubbed "velociraptor"
by The Economist; and William Kristol, former Chief of Staff for!
Dan Quayle who said, "We need to err on the side of being
strong [...] And if people want to say we're an imperial power,
fine."
Many of PNAC's members and associates
have been implicated in conflict of interest scandals involving
the ways that they profit from the wars and military spending
that they promote. For more information, see the special report
entitled Investing in war futures: How Richard Perle, James Woolsey,
Halliburton, the Carlyle Group and others profit from the business
of killing people and destroying property.
In September 2000, Project for the New
American Century produced a report for Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld,
Paul Wolfowitz, Jeb Bush, and Lewis Libby. Journalist Neil Mackay
wrote about this report in the September 15th, 2002 edition of
the Sunday Herald.
According to the Sunday Herald article,
Tam Dalyell, the Labour MP, father of the House of Commons and
one of the leading rebel voices against war with Iraq, said: 'This
is garbage from right-wing think-tanks stuffed with chicken-hawks
-- men who have never seen the horror of war but are in love with
the idea of war. Men like Cheney, who were draft-dodgers in the
Vietnam war.
'This is a blueprint for US world domination
-- a new world order of their making. These are the thought processes
of fantasist Americans who want to control the world. I am appalled
that a British Labour Prime Minister should have got into bed
with a crew which has this moral standing.'
The report, an "'American grand strategy'"
and "blueprint of world domination" entitled Rebuilding
America's Defenses: Strategy, Forces and Resources For a New Century,
contained the following goals:
* The U.S. must take military control
of the Gulf region whether or not Saddam Hussein is in power:
"While the unresolved conflict with Iraq provides the immediate
justification, the need for a substantial American force presence
in the Gulf transcends the issue of the regime of Saddam Hussein."
* The U.S. must "fight and decisively
win multiple, simultaneous major theatre wars" as a "core
mission" The U.S. forces are "the cavalry on the new
American frontier"
* The report builds upon the 1992 draft
document "Defense Planning Guidance," which claimed
that the U.S. must "discourage advanced industrial nations
from challenging our leadership or even aspiring to a larger regional
or global role"
* Permanent U.S. bases in Saudi Arabia
and Kuwait, whether or not Saddam Hussein is in power
* Increasing military pressure on China:
"it is time to increase the presence of American forces in
southeast Asia" which will lead to "American and allied
power providing the spur to the process of democratisation in
China"
* "the creation of 'US Space Forces',
to dominate space, and the total control of cyberspace to prevent
'enemies' using the internet against the US"
The report contains ambivalent language
toward bioterrorism and genetic warfare: "New methods of
attack -- electronic, 'non-lethal', biological -- will be more
widely available ... combat likely will take place in new dimensions,
in space, cyberspace, and perhaps the world of microbes ... advanced
forms of biological warfare that can 'target' specific genotypes
may transform biological warfare from the realm of terror to a
politically useful tool"
Development of "world-wide command-and-control
system" to contain dangerous regimes of North Korea, Libya,
Syria, and Iran.
